□ Description
Katol......Hong Kong sign painter and graphic designer. In his early years, he was influenced by Harajuku subculture, from album covers to street fashion. Katol later became a co-founder of the renowned Hong Kong street art unit, Start From Zero, who exhibited their works internationally.
In recent years, Katol co-founded the creative agency SOCIAL NERD, working on diverse design projects. He is also the co-owner of Coffee & Laundry, which combines coffee and self-service laundry with various types of exhibitions.
香港のサインライター／グラフィックデザイナーであるKatol は、幼少期より原宿のサブカルチャーに影響を受け、レコードジャケットからストリートウェアまで、あらゆるデザインに夢中になる。香港で伝説的な人気を誇るストリートアートユニット「Start From Zero」の創設者の一人であり、過去にはコペンハーゲンやシドニーなど国内外でグループ展に参加。
近年知人らとクリエイティブ集団「SOCIAL NERD」を設立し、ショップのサインやブックデザイン、キュレーション、レコードジャケットからTシャツ、さらにはバス車体への大掛かりなペンティングに至るまで、さまざまなデザイン関連のプロジェクトにも携わる。これまでにNIKE、ニューバランス、VANS、RIMOWA、香港バス、K11、ブルーボトルコーヒーなどあらゆる企業やアパレルブランドとコラボしている。
